Golden Signals
Golden signals are a small set of high-level metrics that summarize service health — traditionally latency, traffic, errors, and saturation. For LLM systems the set is extended with quality-oriented signals such as evaluation scores, guardrail block rates, and token cost per request. Tracking these together gives operators an at-a-glance view of whether both the infrastructure and the model outputs are behaving normally.
