efSearch

efSearch is an HNSW query-time parameter controlling how many candidate nodes the graph traversal keeps in its dynamic list. Higher values explore more of the graph, raising recall at the cost of latency; lower values are faster but may miss true neighbors. Tuning efSearch against a labeled set is the main lever for trading accuracy against speed at query time.
